Item 8.01.
Other Events.

On January 4, 2021, L&F Acquisition Corp. (the “Company”) announced that the holders of the Company’s units (the “Units”) may elect to separately trade the Class A ordinary shares, par value $0.0001 per share (the “Class A ordinary shares”), and warrants included in the Units commencing January 7, 2021. Each Unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one warrant to purchase one Class A ordinary share. Any Units not separated will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) under the symbol “LNFA.U”. Any underlying Class A ordinary shares and warrants that are separated will trade on NYSE under the symbols “LNFA” and “LNFA WS,” respectively. No fractional warrants will be issued upon separation of the Units and only whole warrants will trade. Holders of Units will need to have their brokers contact Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the Company’s transfer agent, in order to separate the holders’ Units into Class A ordinary shares and warrants.

L&F Acquisition Corp. Announces the Separate Trading of its Class A Ordinary Shares and Warrants Commencing January 7, 2021
 
Chicago – January 4, 2021 – L&F Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: LNFA.U) (the “Company”) today announced that, commencing January 7, 2021, holders of the units sold in the Company’s initial public offering of units, completed on November 23, 2020, may elect to separately trade the Class A ordinary shares and warrants included in the units. Those units not separated will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) under the symbol “LNFA.U,” and the Class A ordinary shares and warrants that are separated will trade on NYSE under the symbols “LNFA” and “LNFA WS,” respectively. No fractional warrants will be issued upon separation of the units and only whole warrants will trade. Holders of units will need to have their brokers contact Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the Company’s transfer agent, in order to separate the units into Class A ordinary shares and warrants.
 
The units were initially offered by the Company in an underwritten offering. Jefferies LLC acted as sole book-running manager for the offering. A registration statement relating to the units and the underlying securities was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on November 18, 2020.
